Farewell to Mrs. Papia

Notre Dame Academy, Patna on 6th February, 2024 celebrated the farewell ceremony of Mrs. Papia Bose in the Julie Hall. Being a part of the institution for thirty two years she has given her best and displayed the utmost concern for the NDA family. The tiny tots of the Montessori section along with the students of Primary and High school prepared a heartwarming display for their beloved teacher. As she stepped into her golden period, the respected Principal, Sr. Mary Neha reflected on her journey and expressed her deepest gratitude on behalf of the staff and students of the institution for her invaluable presence and contributions.

Fruits Carnival

Montessori House of Children, Notre Dame Academy, Patna celebrated Fruits Carnival Day on 8th December 2023 conducted by Parents Teachers Association . This event is a unique event where our students of Mont. I get to learn from a real life perspective about fruits not only visually but also through touch and taste. Apart from a dazzling and mouth watering array of fruits and fruit dishes, children also gained the importance of fruits . Parents of Mont. I children were also invited to partake of this fun filled event where their little ones themselves were dressed up as colorful fruit .

Fruit Carnival was organized for Mont. I by PTA members in Montessori House of Children, Notredame Academy , Patna. Children were dressed up in Yellow , blue, green, orange ,pink/ purple outfits representing a fruit or a vegetable of their choices. They learned the importance of fruits and vegetables and to be away from junk foods as they can make us ill. Fruit salad party was also organized for the children where they thoroughly enjoyed eating fruits of their choice .

A child’s impressionable young mind needs to be shown the right path from a nubile age, because the foundation decides the future. The Montessori Section of Notre Dame Academy sets in stone the foundation of exemplary values and basic learning early in each student’s mind, aiding them to achieve eminence later in life. Each stone is laid in such a way, that the path leads towards the gateways of success. Nurturing the children like its own, the Montessori section makes not just students, but develops a child in a holistic manner.

The teachers treat each child as their own, giving them the love and care a mother would provide. The Head of theMontessori ensures such an environment in which each child can develop to the best of his/her abilities and the provision of such education, which leaves the student longing for more.
